This wine entered the market in 2001 as the 2000 vintage. Only a small quantity was made using 66% merlot and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is matured in oak barrels for nearly 12 months before bottling. The flavour and aroma were traditional Margaret River quality and the wine displayed a great velvet colour that covered the palate with generous fruit qualities. The hint of spice and berries are evident.
